SR 837 Parametric Constraints.xlsx
I am new to using Parametric Constraints as I have always used the superelevation tools and the point controls in order to adjust widening/superelevation for my corridors.
Whenever you use parametric constraints, do you have to use different constraints or do anything differently when creating your templates? In the past, I have always constrained my points by using horizontal & slope constraints.
I am having issues when importing my parametric constraints for slope and distance as they are showing up in Orange saying that there is an overlapping constraint. I have my parametric constraint excel file attached as well.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi Cody,
Parametric Constraints will override the Point Constraints in your template, so no, you don't have to do anything differently when creating your templates.
Regarding your constraints that are Orange, verify those stations and ensure that you do not have station that overlap. Since I don't have your ALG, all station are Red when I reviewed you Excel file.

Sanders

Hi Sanders,
If you reference to my excel file, I have widening and super elevation that goes from Point A to Point B, then Point B to Point C... etc. This continues for all of my parametric constraint file. The templates seem to ignore the parametric constraints and do not widen/apply super.
