Hello,
I have multiple models build in SUE ORD 10.03.00.43 using Model Builder. I am finding that most of them wont imodel. During the I-modelling process they get to a certain percentage (varies from model to model) then it just stops and usually crashes. This happens both within and outside of Projectwise, however,
We have two work workaround. These are:
1. Nest the file into a clean model. This seems to produce a fully attributed model, however, creates a nested I-model which is not acceptable to our client.
2. Export to InRoads and imodel from there. This does not produce an attributed model so attributes need to be manually tagged. This is not a great workaround.
Bentley have suggested that 10.04 may help, however, this has not proved to be the case, and upgrading to 10.04 isn't an option in the short term given the size of the team.
Has anyone else come across I-modelling issues when using SUE in ORD?
Any solutions to such problems?
Thanks
We are aware of a few issues, and they are currently scheduled to be fixed in the Q3 2018 release (Update 5). Here are some defect numbers we are using to track...
923340 - slowness publishing iModel with certain data
921712 - missing data in iModel from some datasets
923354 - crashes publishing iModel with specific files
