I'm trying to export a conceptstation model to VISSIM, but when I export my geometry I'm running into a variety of inconsistencies in VISSIM. For example, I have a 5 lane one directional template set up in Conceptstation, but when I export to VISSIM its splitting it into two connectors, one direction with two lanes and one with three lanes. How does conceptstation decide to split the alignment like that?

Hi,
The directionality is determined by the position of the pavement components relative to the origin of the template. If you have pavement components on either side of the template origin, our export to VISSIM will assume that the road is bi-directional.
Please have a look at our prebuilt ramp templates as examples. They have pavement on only one side of the origin.
