In previous versions of Inroads it gave the option for when creating the surface to exclude the triangulation as I can tell you in the version of open Roads that when generating the surface I do not believe the triangulation.
Hi Geovana,
Are you asking if you can create a terrain in Open Roads without triangulating or how to turn off triangles? If you want to turn off triangles, this can be done within Properties.
Regards,
Sanders

OpenRoads terrains are created differently from the InRoads DTM. In creating a terrain, if there is a feature or features that you do not want triangulated, do not add those features to your terrain. If desired, a 3D feature can still be displayed in your design file, or cross sections even, without adding it to a terrain.
Both options are available from the InRoads Explorer dialog box through SELECTseries 4.
