Hi guys,
Is it possible to have Point 2 fixed, so it will always stay right in the middle of point 1 and 3, even though point 1 connect to an alignment using point control?
Furthermore i would like if Point 2 could have a fixed slope to both points.
Kind regards
This is only true if the elevations of points 1 and 3 are the same and the fixed slopes match. You can't have fixed slopes while independently controlling the horizontal position.
so if slopes from 1 and 3 to be equal you don't need to use horizontal constraint.

Hi Adam,
That worked! Thank you for the quick reply :-)
For the Horizontal Point Constraint (double click on point) next to the value you will find "=" sign. This is the Value Equation, for Multiplier enter 0.5 and your point will be always in the middle. As per second part of your question, I don't think it is possible to have point exactly in the middle and with fixed slopes from two other points unless these slopes are equal. If slopes to be equal, than the point will always be in the middle.
