Hello all,
I am using OpenRoads Designer Connect Edition and I have a couple of questions regarding corridors. I am fairly new to this program, so I will try my best to describe my issue.
There are templates that keep getting updated by someone. I'd like to know how to correctly process the corridor every time that person updates their template.
This is what I've been doing:
Template
->File-> Open -> *sends me to projectwise* Click on the correct file (itl) and click Open ->
-> Click the correct Template
--> File -> save -> close
Then I go to the Design window and click Process Corridor.
Is this process correct?
Thank you for your help.
I don't believe that the process you are following will actually update the template drops in the corridor. After you load the proper .ITL as you are doing you will want to synchronize the template drop to the library (ITL). This is done with the "Synchronize with Library" on the context toolbar for the Template Drop, or off the ribbon. Synchronizing should trigger the reprocessing of the corridor.
Hope that helps.

However, you should confirm that this is a desirable action. Sometimes, a template is revised in the corridor for a specific design need and synchronizing will remove that change.

Thank You.
I clicked on the "Synchronize with library" button but my template drop disappeared. Is this supposed to happen?
I undid my changes so everything is back to how it was.
Thanks!
I don't believe I have had that occur, but no, that is not supposed to happen. Was the ITL that was originally used to create the corridor attached?
I fixed it! Thank you !
Sync w/ Lib worked.
