end conditions and priorities

rather new to open roads and I have a question. when using criteria in geopak I could set a point at ng at row. I then could ratchet thru different slope values until the catch point fell inside the row. is there a way to make a end condition component fail if falls outside the row and that would trigger the template to try the next end condition component? I have added the row as an external reference. I had the last point in the component look for that feature definition but that does not cause failure for that component if it does not fine it. I believe this could be done with display rules but that seems rather cumbersome so looking for a better solution before I go that route. thanks for your help. brian
