Which version of OpenRoads and ProjectWise do you have?

Yes with ProjectWise, if the workspaces are set properly it launches the dgn with the workspace defined in ProjectWise.

RE: invalid 3d element-child of corridor

Marc,

I think I may have figured it out. The linework I was accessing to create the external references was created by someone else and they were using a different “project workspace” setting when opening the file. I changed mine to match theirs
and it worked. A bit new to openroads and just learning all the unwritten rules!

If I could I would like to ask one more question. Are you using projectwise when opening the Openroads files? When we use projectwise it really slows the work down…so we have been exporting the files (locking them) and working locally.
If we were using projectwise to open the files it should load the correct workspace….correct? Thanks for your help and responding. Brian
