I'm using MX Roads SS4, where I'm trying to use Openroads Civil cell tool to place a T Junction. When trying to select secondary Road CL, i'm getting an error "Element is Locked". I tried to unlock the element by selecting proprties. There another error is poping up "Property Value is not Valid". Kindly help on how to resolve this issue and why such errors are coming.
Are you selecting the MX string for the side road centreline? Or have you converted the MX string into an OpenRoads feature? Civil Cells look for OpenRoads features, not MX strings.
Okay. Can you kindly tell me how to convert MX Strings to OpenRoads feature?
Use the 'Import Geometry' tool under General Geometry. I normally turn off 'Create civil rules' as I presume the MX designer will have control over any changes to be made. Also, you could have the imported geometry in a reference file, just to have it separate.
