Open roads designer , Design standards settings

Question

Hi, 
 I am new to Open roads designer software.In the SS4 inroads automatically getting IRC standards in "Design standards "tool bars, but in the "Open roads designer" not showing IRC standards. Please tell the workflow getting IRC (Indian) standards in the Open roads Designer-update 2.

Hi 
 There's an Indian Dataset, which is available to download from the Fullfillment Centre under Open Roads Designer. 
 I beleive this workspace contains the Indian Standards.

 That is the shortcut I have always used. You will need to define the search you want i.e. OpenRoads Designer should list all country kits.

If you have used the Indian workspace, you will be picking up those standards.Open Explorer, OpenRoads Standards tab - and see what is listed under Libraries > Design Standards.

I have just installed the 'India Standards', and selected the WorkSpace. 
 In the folder 'C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenRoads Designer CE\Configuration\Organization-Civil\India Standards\Dgnlib\Design Standards' there are 3 libraries. If you look at the Design Standards toolbar, you will see that they are all listed. And they are listed in Explorer, as shown below. 
 I do not know what you are expecting to see when the design standards are loaded? They are there to be used as required.

It may be that your version is too old - the latest version is 2019 Release 2 (10.7.1.32), and there have been some schema updates since version 10.2. I would recommend updating the software.

Go to the Software Downloads area of the Subscriptions Services Portal, and filter on OpenRoads - then set the 'Deliverable Type' to 'Data Set', and 'Subscription Entitlement' to 'No'.

What WorkSpace/WorkSet did you select? Assuming you installed it correctly, you should see the following in the DGNLIB/Feature Definitions folder.

The 'Feature Definition' dgnlib is there - so it should be picked up when you use the Indian WorkSpace. Check your configuration to ensure the configguration variables are set to point to the correct files.

If you have never done anything with configuration, talk to your IT CAD manager. That topic is huge, and there is the possibility that you can stop ORD working if you make a mistake. 
 Just so you know, you can check configuration variables from 'File > Settings > Configuration > Configuration Variables'. Be careful.

They can be seen in Explorer. When you are annotating a plan, profiles or cross sections, you can select the relevant one. If you do not see them in Explorer, there is an issue with the install or WorkSpace.

To all those looking for the Indian Country Kit 
 Go to the Subscription Portal ( https://subscriptionservices.bentley.com/ ) and in the OpenRoads Designer download section, set the following 'Delverable Type' and 'Subscription Entitlement' - you will see the Indian Country Kit in the list.
