Pattern files in OpenRoads Designer (.pat)

For PowerCivil, the patterns are under the workspace folder (wherever that was installed) - 'WorkSpace\System\materials' - here is 'Bump' and 'Patterns' sub-folders, amongst others.

For ORD, the configuration can have them under Organization, WorkSpace, or WorkSet - it does depend on how it is set up. 

Materials can be set on Feature Symbology, so that an asphalt road layer would be automatically rendered as Asphalt, for example.
