I have a file with 3 alignments created in OpenRoads. I am using Civil Accudraw to give me the STA. and Offset at any location on the project (checking the location of a surveyed culvert). When I begin the process I activate Civil Accudraw and press 'o' to set the origin and I get the heads up readout of the STA. & o/s for that alignment.
I can't figure out how to select a different alignment, like a side road, in that same file to get that alignment's stationing.
If there is a better way to get the STA. o/s read out let me know. I am used to Plan Preparation > Plan View Labeling in GeoPAK.
Thanks,
Dan
Analyze Point will provide station and offset information and you can reset and then select a different alignment. In OpenRoads Designer the default keyboard shortcut to activate it is F11 or if you are in a configured workspace then you can also find it on the Home ribbon under Model Analysis and Reporting.
Dan: You are supposed to be able to use the O shortcut again and pick another alignment. However, there was a bug crept in a while back such that this often does not work. But you can still use the Civil Accudraw toolbar. Click and hold the second button in the toolbar and then click Set Origin. Then pick the new alignment.
