When opening InRoads SS4 one of our users is receiving the following error message:
The procedure entry point mcmUtil_GetUnmanagedWorkspace could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\ProjectWise\Bin\v811\mcm.dll.
Is this an integration issue between InRoads and ProjectWise?
Does anyone know how to resolve it?
From researching this, I think it could be an integration issue. Take a look at the following articles from the PW Content Management communities:

It could be as simple as a uninstall of ProjectWise and reinstall, or you may need to look at some other things like permissions for the folder, etc.

Hi Chris,
To follow up on this issue, we had someone from Bentley come in to our office a couple of weeks ago to do some preliminary ProjectWise training and I discussed this mcm.dll error issue with him. We worked on it for a while and he got someone from Bentley tech support on the phone and it turned out to be a compatibility issue between InRoads SS4 and ProjectWise Administrator. According to the tech support person, as long as your running the two together your going to get that message and since OpenRoads is on it's way in and Bentley is going to stop supporting InRoads in 2019 it's not an error that's likely to be fixed. You can click "OK" at the error message and continue to work in SS4 with no problem. It's just annoying. If you're only running ProjectWise Explorer you shouldn't be getting that error message. We didn't. I only get that error message when ProjectWise Administrator is loaded on the computer..
I hope this helps a little. I'm going to the Bentley conference next week in California and will be attending some ProjectWise classes while there. I hope they're informative and offer some Q and A time afterward.
