Today I am working on profiles and it keeps crashing. Is crashing a typical problem for Open Roads? I have a new machine that I got specifically to handle Open Roads but today its been a bear. Any tips or things

RE: Open Roads Crashing

Thank you Chris Neelin and Mark Russell. I was having the same issue but compressed the files in my C drive and then deleted them out of the folder and OpenRoads is working again.

RE: Open Roads Crashing

I used this with caution, aka. zipped the folder first, but this actually worked for me, so thank you!

RE: Open Roads Crashing

I have found that going to your c:\users\your_username\appdata\local\bentley\openroadsdesigner\10.x.x.x\prefs and deleting everything seems to help a lot. You might want to save your *.upf file though (user preference file)

RE: Open Roads Crashing

Deleting a horizontal alignment or creating a vertical alignment. Seems there are just some lines it doesn't like.

RE: Open Roads Crashing

Hi Brandon,

There is nothing called Open Roads.

ORD has the MicroStation CAD engine built into it, but it is a standalone application i.e. it does not run 'in MicroStation' - just wanted to clarify that.
