I am currently modelling utilities (not drainage) by using the place nodes and conduit tools in the Subsurface Utilities workflow on Openroads.
When placing a node into the model, Openroads has an option to select a reference element for the node elevation. I am using a 3D ground model created with Openroads as the reference element.
If one of these nodes is then moved to a different location, the node ground elevation in the property bar automatically updates to the referenced 3D ground model elevation. However, the conduit connecting to this node does not update the invert level to maintain the minimum cover that I have established in the feature definition conduit table.
How can this be set so that the conduit invert level automatically updates when the Ground Model levels change?
Node First PositionConnecting conduit IL = 25.2058m (highlighted in screenshot)
Node New Position (Ground Elevation approx 100mm lower but connecting conduit IL does not lower automatically (connecting conduit IL still 25.2058m)
Hi Daniel,
As of now you will have to edit the invert elevation. When you move the node, the invert will stay the same. I logged Enhancement 971970: SUDA conduit's invert elevation to rule to node elevation to update proportionately when moved. This enhancement requests being able to move a node and have the invert elevation change as well to stay proportionate to the distance from the manhole initially assigned.
