Power GEOPAK SS4 SUDA

When adding culverts into SUDA, I'm looking to add multiple slope breaks along a culvert. As of now I'm only capable of changing the start at stop flow line elevations. Is it possible to create a culvert system with various slope changes along the alignment of the culvert?

  • Select the culvert, then on the context toolbox click on Open Profile.  Design whatever profile you want with as many breaks as you want. You can make a brand new profile or use the insert profile curve command on the existing profile.

You should note that this will affect the physical model only. Hydraulically, the StormCAD engine (which provides the hydraulic analysis/design in SUDA) is not able to hydraulically model change in slope of a culvert. It will treat the culvert as a though there are no grade breaks. Thus for hydraulic analysis you will need to use something else, such as HY8 or maybe Culvert Master.
