I have modeled 4 intersections using DOT's Civil Cells but they were all symmetric.
This last intersection that I am working on is asymmetric and extremely annoying.
The intersection in 2D can be seen here:
I am using DOT's pre-build civil Cell which can be seen here:
The Prebuild Civil Cell is supposed to look like this:
It has 2 Curb Tangent Linear Templates and 2 Radi Curb Linear templates.
What I get is this:
This is the Model in 3D:
The left Curb/Radius Template drops to an elevation of 0 and the Surface template can't find the left side EOP.
The right side of the Intersection I was able to model fine, but the Left side is extremely difficult. I think it's maybe that the Tangent Curb section being cut off on the left hand side?
Has anyone dealt with this type of issue? How should I try to fix the left hand size? If no one has worked on this issue what would be the best way to try to fix this intersection.
I am able to edit the Linear templates slightly through Project explorer.
Hi Daniel, can you upload your files here: https://bentley.sharefile.com/r-r7bc8a7164904a178
and I will have a look.
I have found that when the civil cell 'drops' to a strange elevation, it is normally means that one of the cell features was not able to be created. In this case, the left EOP does not seem to be able to resolve itself around the bend - could that be because the main line EOP does not extend far enough for the left edge of junction to find it (for example).
