I need to create a single super control line for an auxiliary lane from Station x to Station Y and then apply this to the point controls. I went to create the single super and there was no option to create by station or read the auxiliary lane line. I have the lane line created and I now want to apply a super to this Auxiliary lane. Is there a provision or workflow for this somewhere? I just can't seem to find the answer.
thanks in advance
I am not exactly clear on where your issue is? Are you able to create the aux super lane line? Is the issue that you can not apply this lane to the corridor as a point control?
Yes Marc, This is what I have done to make this happen
1.) Create a Superelevation AUXILIARY Lane. You can do this by station
2.) Insert Station Cross-Slope at the beginning. I did this in the Plan View
3.) Edit the Super and finalize by using the Insert Station Cross-Slope, again using the plan view
4.) Open Superelevation View
5.) Select Lane to display by doing Right-Click in the Superelevation view. Your Lane Names will appear. Now you can edit the Super in the Superelevation View.
Thanks Again,

don't hesitate to upload your dataset if you want me to have a look at it.
I have uploaded my data. Take a look at Superelevation - WB file. The cross-slope constraint is not working when when I edit it to 6.00% from 8.00%, the opposite side holds the 8.00% when it should be 6.00%. I tried to edit it in the plan view and the editor with no luck
Hi Joe,
If I open you file Superelevation Rte 2 - WB.dgn, I can see 2 superelevation objects, TRWY2_LT & TRWY3_RT. With which one do you have the issue and at which stations?
Marc, I solved this issue. In the Plan view select the pavement lane that is not honoring the Mirror Cross-Slope. In the Project Explorer find the Transition. Change Mirror Cross-Slope to NONE. You will note in the Superlevation View the cross-slope is now mirrored. Now switch back the NONE to Mirror-Slope for future changes.
Must be a clitch in the software. Perhaps you should let the developers know.
Marc, for some reason the constraint was not being honored. By releasing the constraint the cross-slope becomes honored. By activating the constraint again the cross-slope is honored.
Joe
I cannot get this workaround to operate correctly. The control line that I created to be mirrored will not switch and it does not honor the mirroring.
