Hi,
Does anyone know if there is any way to apply a cross section annotation group expression that would filter by partial point name, eg. PD-* to select all elements with a "PD-" prefix or a LEFT or SUBSTRING expression that would allow me to define any elements with the first few left characters, etc. or even something with the math or logical operators?
Right now my filtered list is very long and it constantly needs to be updated for every project that has different features so its becoming cumbersome...
Regards,
Mark
Hi Mark,
I am sitting with the same scenario. Did you find an answer/solution for this?
Christiaan
nope, unfortunately nothing new here. Needed more than ever.

Thank you Mark. It's a real pity that there is no prefix or suffix filter option.
It must be said that the expression filter is quite limited and unclear on how it should be used, especially the logical operators. For example I struggle to understand how the true and false logical operator works. I can't find a tutorial showing me how they should be used. Do you know how they work or where I can find a tutorial/video?

Christiaan I am stuck trying to figure out how to use it in the least. More importantly using it for feature definitions. If you have come across anything since June that may help it would be greatly appreciated!!!
I haven't figured out how to filter by feature definition yet, but I finally figured out how to filter by a list of points.
Any update on this? It seems the only thing I could use the filters for are point names. not feature definitions. very disappointing.
Point names work without the wildcard entries. My Selection bar do not allow me to copy from another frame row. Anyone with an Idea
