The attached file used to work correctly. A couple of days ago, I edited (replaced) the first two elements of the profile (drop elements, replace first two elements, make complex, make profile active).
Today, I needed the file again as a reference to relate the height of some lines to. However, the alignment's profile was not active. Several tries of turning the profile active and saving / reopening did not yield the desired result: the profile stayed inactive. On top of that, when the profile is dropped to elements, selecting one of the first two elements causes an OpenRoads crash. Replacing them does not help. The other elements work as expected.
A colleague experiences the exact same problems with the file. We both use ORD 2018 release 4. I have the same problem when all references are detached / unavailable, so I think the problem is within the attached file.
Would anyone know what might be the cause of the profile staying inactive and, more importantly, know a solution? At the moment I do not see another option than making a new alignment.

The problem is not something I have heard of before.
