I am currently running Power Geopak SS4 Version 08.11.09.878 and at some point last week my gpk file became corrupt. Is there a way to repair the gpk?
Quick answer is no and you will need to go to back up. The only thing you could try if you can open the GPK file is make an input file and read that input file into a new database so that only the good data is written to the input file and therefore transferred to the new gpk file.

Did you try compress and rebuild? Sometimes you can spot a bad point or chain by crazy hieroglyphic looking characters comprising the name field. Can you post the the GPK?
Cliff, the file size is too big for me to upload (+9000K)
Beebe/ Cliff, is there anything to perhaps avoid corruption? Or is it truly luck (or lack thereof)? Could it be a Power GeoPak version issue? Should I upgrade to 08.11.09.904? Is 904 64 bit compatible as I am running a 64 bit/32G RAM computer and I am looking for a 64bit version anyway.
This particular corruption I believe occurred when the IT department was installing network patches.
I guess I'm confused. Are you working with a GPK dataset or is this an OpenRoads project explorer issue?
GPK dataset, in short we take our field data and import them into a gpk with Power Geopak, visualize the chains, edit the chains, and then generate a .tin.
