I have two triangulation models. One which represents the ground level, and another which gives flood water depths along a river valley. Is there a way to add the levels of the two triangulations together, to give me an elevation of the flood water?
Using MX, but could also use ORD if needed.
Hi Stewart, not sure there is a straightforward way to do it but if you can share your data I'll check what can be done. You can upload your files here: https://bentley.sharefile.com/r-r2561a24d6d24821a
Create an isopachyte triangulation between the two, and you will have the flood water elevations.
This is just a 'twist' on the normal use of a isop triangulation. Make iso between ground and Flood would give you difference in heights i.e. depths. So we are just reversing the process - iso between ground and depths to give elevations.
Hope that makes sense.
