Hi,
I would like to ask how to show Centerline Symbol in cross sections?
I am using InRoads SS2.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
- Ron
Exactly what do you mean, Ron? Do you wish to show it on the grid or as a cell-based flag whenever the template crosses the centerline?
Mark
Thank you Mark for your response. I just want to have the centerline symbol in cross sections so that it represents the centerline from where the offsets are coming from. It can be either on the grid or a cell.
If I understand what you are attempting to do here, the CL point on your template needs to be assigned to a feature, and the feature needs to have a cell assigned to it via the InRoads styles and sympbologies. See the attached images for- what I hope will be- further clarification. In my case here, the cell "CL_Exist._Survey" is attached to the feature.
Make sure as well that "crossing points" is turned on in your cross section symbology (as image three relates).
Dear Mark,
Thank you for your screenshots. That is exactly what i am after.
Much appreciated for your help on this.
Regards,
Ron
Ron, you are so welcome.
Of course, the notion is not just related to merely CL and associated crossing alignment points, but also any crossing features (utility lines, RW lines, etc.) which are sliced in regard to the cross section cuts. You might think about such crossing features and what cells you might like to assign to them first, and then to create features with those cells assigned to them.
Best Regards,
Mark, agreed, this is one essential feature which i am missing. Thanks for opening this to me.
