Hi,
I have several alignments in a coordinate system (SYS34 for Denmark) and I need to change it to another coordinate system (DKTM3 for Denmark), but when I do that the alignment is not completely moved and it looks funny as seen in the picture that I attached.
Where does it go wrong or why?
I am using PowerCivil for Denmark (SS4) v8.11.9.833
Is the reprojection a simple rotation (like in your post (x,y) -> (y,-x)) or does this also scale as you reproject?
I am asked if I want to do a reprojection when I change my geographic coordinate system (from sys34 to dktm3, for example) and I say yes.
and it seems that some parts of the alignment are 'stuck' in the original position, especially transition curves
I am shamelessly taking MaryB's statement and reusing it - "I don't know much about reprojections (honestly)". However, have you tried creating a new DGN with the GCS set to DKTM3, and referencing in the first (SYS34) DGN. The reference dialog should have a 'Reprojection' option.
Just to see if it will put the reference file into the correct place.
