I thought that might be the case.

So anybody we send the file to will have to have the same version or newer in order for them to use it, correct?

The R6 version uses Bentley’s new CONNECT Licensing yes?

there are 4 update releases a year

Just to be clear, new versions are incompatible with older versions?

Is this true for the OpenRoads or all CONNECT Generation Products?

And none of them can be opened by an earlier version? That's going to leave a mess when trying to share files between different partners, clients, etc...

It's one thing if older software can't read the newer product. It's another level of confusion when you can't save the newer product backward for the older software to read. That's bad.
