Our Plats personnel still rely on ICS COGO Batch files. Today, while trying to assist one of our users, I encountered a situation that I thought was not an issue. They use a special network drive that I am not setup to use, so I had to change the path on their control commands that maintain their reports. I thought that I had use double quotes with file paths that contain spaces in the past. But today, the only ways I was successful in creating and updating external files from the ICS file was to make sure there were no spaces in my folder or file names.
Does anyone recall if this is a known limitation or possibly something that has crept in as Windows and the rest of the world has moved on to newer Operating Systems?
