Hello,
I´m have installed on my machine OpenRoads ConnectEdition. But I need MicroStation too. So my question is: do I need to download a full install of MicroStation and run it, or there´s a way to use the MicroStation's core that OpenRoads uses? (I'm used to be an Autodesk user, and for Civil 3D you can start it as a normal AutoCAD instance, by clicking separate icon created by Autodesk's install process.) As OpenRoads is built in MicroStation core, Civil3D is built in AutoCAD's core, so can I do this? unfortunately, after install OpenRoads, I can't find an MicroStation icon...
ps.: sorry for my bad english
No, those are two different product. Even if Openroads ''kind of include'' Microstation you need to install both to have both. Also it's a good thing to have both as they don't share the same ''bugs''. Some things works best in openroads and some others in Microstation.
