I have added feature definition to normal Microstation lines to used them in corridor but now I would like to remove the feature definition from them. Or at least drop them but every time

RE: ORD - Remove feature definition from line

Jeremie, your instruction provided the information I needed.
How did you add a feature definition to the Microstation lines? I need to figure out how to duplicate that action to control a template.

Thank you.

RE: ORD - Remove feature definition from line

Thanks Mark, the Simplify Geometry command used with the drop command really did the trick.

RE: ORD - Remove feature definition from line

In the Properties dialog, you can just set the Feature Definition to 'No Feature Definition' - that will remove it. The element will still be on whatever level it was put on when the feature definition was set, but that too can be changed in the Properties dialog.

Geometry > Common Tools > Simplify Geometry - this will remove the offset relationship. You can then use the Drop Element tool with 'Application Objects' checked - the element will still have its geometry rules associated.
