Hi,
I need to export an annotated profile from OpenRoads Designer to AutoCAD. The export was successful for linework and the grid text, however the annotation text and curve data text is not displaying correctly (shown as 0's in screenshot below). Is anyone aware of a solution to this issue?
AutoCAD export - 2016 version - 2013-2017 compatible
OpenRoads Designer
Thank you,
Robert
Hi,may I know had this problem been solved?
It looks like this glitch is suppose to be fixed on the latest update coming on April 1, 2019. I will hold off until the new update and try again.

Hi.
you can export Profile to xml And import on c3d.
The only way to export a profile to autocad is to export in a sheet, so when you export you have to select the default model AND the sheet model.
Export profile drawing model = lost information. Drawing model reference in default model = lost information. Sheet model reference in default model = lost information.
So yes export to Autocad is problematic and I hope Nico you can write something to fix this.
Also when you have certain thing displayed in your profile this operation is impossible, the software crash without warning. This happen when you have use the quick surface on a corridor, the surface is displayed in profile but it's impossible to export to autocad because the software will crash without letting you know why.
ok. I don't have autocad to test it. can you make a video of you opening the dwg in autocad and zoom in to show the text?
I will then use it to submit a defect. also, include the version of autocad
