Hi there,
I''m would like to export a dwg from a long section in a sheet model , generated by a drawing boundary and annotated by a annotation group.
This is the sheet model
after export the 3d cut isn't visible.
drawing model with references child references cached
How can i fix this ?
This is a know defect: Defect 920548:Profile 3D Cuts missing when saving to DWG, that to date has not been resolved.

Hi,
The only solution we have found is to merge the 3d cut reference to Master in your Profile view to get static lines/shapes. Any drawings/sheets will then export.
Ive spent countless hours and couldn't find any other method unfortunately.

Even with merge visbale edges toggled on this still does not work. While the profile is merged in to the active model the parent elements of the profile are also brought forward (clipped portion in vertical curves). Also, some of the annotation in vertical curves does not come though correctly and reverts to a 0+000 format). Long story short, this process still needs some work from Bentley.

Make sure to do it in the Profile view, not the drawing or sheet. If you merge in the 3d model reference should merge in the 3d cut elements only.
Hi Mark,
thanks I'll have a try.
