In the site layout, when using the grading solver, how do we define the unsuitable area to be used? Also and much importantly how do we define the thickness of it?
Any help is appreciated.
I believe what you are asking about hasn't fully made it into the OpenSite product yet. There are some options at the bottom for 'Rock' and 'Unsuitable' which will be introduced into the grading solver, but do not exist yet.

Hi, I have found that when selecting a building polygon you can set it to be "unsuitable" or other type. But I didn't found a way to set the unsuitable depht, it looked like by default it was set to around 0.66m (3 ft)
Hi, any news on this? Looks solver wants to list both rock cut and unsuitable Cut. I have Terrain Model, Rock Substrata Model and some surface templates with components that have Unsuitable Material set in the Feature Definition. Looks solver is blind to this model.
how to define rock surface and unsuitable material to get these numbers considered in solver?
Thanks

I think the site tools can only use property that are within the different polylines and not the surfaces template or terrain types. Also I haven't tested this yet but I don't think that rock, unsuitable and other materials are taken into account "yet" in the product.
