When i use India Standards Workspace, i do not find any feature definitions for the designs. Can someone tell how to import/edit/modify feature definitions (totally) after creating any project in any workspace?
When you create a WorkSet with the 'Indian Standards' WorkSpace, the dgnlibs from the WorkSpace should be loaded. What do the configuration variables CIVIL_ORGANIZATION_ROOT and _USTN_WORKSPACESROOT point to? Use File > Settings > Configuration to check.
Thanks Mark,
both point to
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenRoads Designer CE\Configuration\Organization-Civil
and
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenRoads Designer CE\Configuration
respectively.
Is there any role of version? I am using 10.03.00.43 version right now.
Does the configuration variable CIVIL_CONTENTMANAGEMENTDGNLIBLIST point to the $(_USTN_WORKSPACESTANDARDS)Dgnlib/Feature Definitions/*.dgnlib files? This should be pointing to '...India Standards/dgnlib/Feature Definitions/*.cgnlib'.
currently It is pointing to three different locations :
1 from organization Civil\India standards
1 from Workspace \ india standards
1 from project workset\standards
But when i draw a line and set feature definition, there is no feature definition option as shown below.
In my case, it is pointing to 'Organization-Civil\Dgnlib/Feature Definitions/*Feature*.dgnlib' i.e.the feature definitions in the Organization-Civil folder contain the word 'Feature' in it - all others are ignored. Please check the filenames.
The workspace configuration files can be amended OR the dgnlib file names can be changed.
in my case, there is no folder "Dgnlib" under Organization civil directly.
Sorry - under 'Organization-Civil/India standards/Dgnlib/Feature Definitions/*Feature*.dgnlib' - my typing error.
Thanks Mark. It worked.
