We are on Projectwise using Microstation v8i and Openroads SS4. When creating cross sections, we all see the same preferences. However, one user created new XS prefs for a project with multiple sets of cross sections in multiple files. He did this in one file. When other users open other cross section files, they cannot see the new preferences. Does anyone know where the new prefs would be stored? We cant track down the file. Thanks
I would begin by checking where the variable CIVIL_XIN_FILE is pointing to. This is where the prefs would be stored.

If users are unable to see the prefs it may be related to MSXML. See article for more information.

Thanks, Marcus. I thought I had deleted this because I screwed up the title. I created a new post https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/f/geopak-inroads-mx-openroads-forum/178421/openroads-ss4-cross-section-preferences?ReplySortBy=CreatedDate&ReplySortOrder=Ascending
We had checked the config variable above along with a few others but I believe we figured it out in the other post. Thanks for the help.
The XIN does not get checked out using this workflow. It gets copied out but appears read/write for any user accessing it. The only way we found to force one user to get read/write access is to use RWK files.
ITL files are also a problem.
