I am trying to produce a "staking report" for a roadway design. In the staking report I need to include elevations and offsets for centerline and my grade breaks in my template. In the cross section report box you can select a surface and "include selected features only". When I select "include selected features only" and select my features I want to show (eo, pg, etc.) I do not get any information in the xml reports. When I choose all features i get an XML that doesn't make a lot of sence. I believe it is giving me elevations and offsets where my template crosses a triangle. Surely with the power of inroads, it should be able to generate a simple easy to read "staking report", somthing simular to section files. What I am looking for is elevations and offsets at 50' stations. I have found that this can be done in the cross sections with the annotate cross sections command, but I am looking for a report format.

To update my last post, the alt. surfaces will work with that style sheet if the Type is set to design. The roadway designer defaults the alt. surfaces to ignore.
However, it is still a bunch of extra work just for reporting, which could be reduced with the change to the style sheet I mentioned. Thanks.
