I'm wondering if what I am asking for can be done.
I have a milling template of 6" top soil stripping which I want to calculate as shown in the image below.
However, when the template falls within the stripping area I only want to calculate the stripping portion outside of the template as shown below.
Can this be accomplished with stripping components or what other method would work to give me the desired results.
I can attach the stripping component to the bottom layer of the template and set the top option to follow component and the bottom option to follow the ground at a 6" depth and that would work fine when the bottom of the template is completely beneath the ex ground (second image) but it will not work when the whole template is above ex ground (first image) because it will calculate from the bottom of component to 6" below ex ground, which I do not want.
Try and set the top option to follow the lowest component.

Thanks for the reply Nico. I tried it but it didn't work. There is no Lowest for top option only bottom, but lowest for the bottom did not work either.
