I know this issue has been raised before, but I havent yet seen any fix to this.
I am using ORD release 1 2019, and suddenly my dynamic cross section view is missing all 3D components..
This had happend to me before, with ORD release 2 2018, and the solution was to start over my proposed corridor in a new dgn file. Fortunatly at that time I was at the beginning stage.
I can't imagine having to redo all over again with a complex corridor that I have spent many hours working on. Unless there's a fix i'm not aware of??

Hi Patrick,
Are you using ProjectWise? Dynamic sections have a habit of not finding its own 3d model on occasion. Do you see any references in your reference list when the section view is active?
Maybe you can try deleting your sections?

I am using PW for this project, but it happened to me also when I wasn't using it. So i'm guessing that's not the problem. As for your suggestion that it might be a reference issue, here's a screen shot:
Everything seems fine in that regard... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the option to delete your sections isn't available in ORD. I think it was only in SS3 and SS4.
As for what caddcop suggested, I dont have the "ignore attachment when live nesting" toggled on. But I'll keep this in mind when using it.
Anyway, I hope Bentley takes a serious look at this issue, it's a real let down to have this happening when you have invested so much time building a model.

The ability to delete all dynamic section views is still in ORD, but only as a keyin (I think it needs to be added back into the interface) -
"geometry dynamicsection deletedxsviews"
Make sure to log a SR to make sure it can be investigated as this happens to all of us at certain times and isn't easily reproduced.
