Good morning. I was looking to have someone confirm what I am seeing. Namely that profile intersection points created in the latest release are not dynamic. Basic workflow is as follows.
The previously created intersection point stays at it's previous location and nothing is created at the new intersection location. The point does move to a "default" symbology dropping what was defined in the intersection settings in the feature definition.
Thanks,
Steve
OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition - 2019 Release 1 Update 7 - Version 10.07.00.56
Is this related to the inability to select crossing elements in the 3D view when using the Profile Intersection tool? The 2D Corridor graphics do not show any breaklines below grade. We use this tool to connect our side road profile to the subgrade breaklines.

It appears this has not been fixed, has anyone found a workaround? A way to force an update other than to recreate the point and resnap to it?
Thanks
Levi
Hi Levi, this has been addressed in later versions of ORD. I'd recommend updating to 2020 Release 3 as it is much more stable and works much better.

Hi Mark,
I am using 2020 Release 3 and it does not appear to be updating every time. The issue I am having is with some curb returns not updating to the new location of the corridor lines. The main roadway corridor is in a separate file and when I go into my approach roads corridor I have to open the profiles for the returns and create a new profile intersection point and then move the snaps. Is there a way to force the update I am missing?
Hi Levi,
It seems that the only way to update profile intersection points that were broken by ORD 2020 R1 is to "nudge" them to update, Maybe try deactivating and reactivating the intersecting geometry profiles, or change your corridor intervals ro something else and back again, etc?
