Can you point at two separate itl files at the same time?

I would like to leave the clients Organizational standard itl file as read only. And allow the designers to add and edit to a Workspace editable itl file. Can OpenRoads read from two itl files at the same time?

  • Read-only libraries in a central location is a good idea.  Write-able project .itls are a good idea (the Workset can point to it).

In the Create Template dialog, Tools > Template Library Organizer allows you to copy from one .itl to another.

When a corridor uses a template, it gets copied to the corridor.  You can make minor deviations directly in the corridor; broad edits should get back to the project .itl for broader use.
