Installed the newly released Microstation V8i SS10 8.11.09.908 with Geopak SS4 8.11.9.878 but getting an error similar to another post about Inroads and Microstation SS10. Will there be a Geopak release that's compatible with this new Microstation V8i SS10?
No, sorry please go back to the MicroStation ss4 version that geopak was certified with.
If you need microstation ss10, you can run it stand alone but you would need to install powergeopak.

Why would we *not* need it? As I understand it, the whole point of SS10 is to accommodate CONNECT licensing when the SELECTServer is taken offline (sometimes this year?). That suggests to me that we will all *need* SS10 if we want our software to continue to run. Is there something I am missing?
Is there any fix planned for SS2 for the new licensing?

I think what is supposed to happen, is a PowerXXXX Ss10 version for GEOPAK, InRoads or MX instead of the traditional Civil Product + MicroStation. But I don't know if the PowerXXXXX Ss10 is available yet.

InRoads SS10 is going to be the licensable version of SS4, not SS2. I'm just wondering what the fix is going to be for those of us who will need to use the older software (for whatever reasons).
We will release a new ss4 version in the next few weeks.
I understand it's going to be an SS4 release.
Do you have any information on what will be available for SS2 users? Is there any plan to keep those licenses functional? As I understand it, SS2 will not communicate with the upcoming Connect license server, and the SELECT Server licensing will be going offline in the not-to-distant future. Updating to SS4/Connect may not be entirely possible (for several legitimate reasons), so what is the suggested solution for licensing those older software packages?

Just to confirm that I am reading that chart correctly:
As of January 2020 (seven moths from now) any and all of the software that we (and others) have purchased prior to SS10/Connect will no longer be licensable, and so will no longer be usable.
Is that correct?
*bump*
Am I understanding this chart correctly? As I understand from reading this, in January 2020 (seven months from now) any and all of the software that we (and others) have purchased prior to SS10/Connect will no longer be licensable, and so will no longer be usable.
Is this correct, or am I mistaken? Please give me a concrete answer. I have seen the chart. I am asking for clarification on the chart, because the chart is not crystal clear.
We have years worth of projects that have been begun and partially completed in SS2. If we absolutely will not be able to use that software package at all after January, we need to know that.
MicroStation SS10 is not/will not be a big deal. InRoads SS2 IS a big deal to us.
Nico, is there an update on when this new Geopak SS10 will be released?
