Simple question but I created a model of a berm that will be used to store excavation. I created the outline of the bottom of the berm which is draped on ex ground then I attached a linear template made of an end condition that seeks an elevation of 924. After adding the linear template, I then created a terrain model by choosing the bottom outline and then the top outline (which was created by the linear template) which is at elev 924. Everything worked but I am now trying to get a volume of the berm in relation to the ex terrain but I can't figure out how to calculate it. The image of my berm is below. Is the problem because I do not have a "cap" on the top? What tool do you use?
I figured it out. After the steps in my OP I used the Create Cut & Fill Volumes tool followed by the Analyze Volumes tool. I don't know if there is another way to do it but this works.

As an aside, but quite related, using the "Create Cut and Fill Volumes" followed by "End Area Volumes Report" is the method by which to annotate cross sections with End Areas and Volumes. It would seem that "Create Cut and Fill Volumes" is the entrance point to the rest of the tools (makes sense).
