Is there a way to stop Geopak from always wanting to the user to select which data format to use when opening a file with survey information in it?

After a survey (topography survey) has been processed, Geopak always prompts for the user to choose a data format before it will open that file. Is there a way to stop this?

 I thought it would only list multiple data types if it has the same extension, but I see yours is listing XML and SMD (unless that GEOPAK SMD is a .XML extension). So if you have multiple Data File Types which have the same extension it will bring this dialog up so you can select which format to use for the import.

Hi Quinten, 
 In your DGN file check your properties for Civil Standards > Project Settings > Survey > Survey Settings. 
 Under the properties category Data File Parsing > Data Import Items ... dialog. 
 For the Vendor GEOPAK and Title GEOPAK SMD is it set to False ? Try setting it to True then save settings and get out of the file and then reopen the file. 
 The Data Format dialog did not appear on reopening the file for us.
