are you using Projectwise?
when I was on a project awhile back as a contractor, PWise blocked using vba and vba macros so I couldn't even record one...check with pwise administrator
But just for interest sake they didn't know about basic so I was in V8i and still able to record msbasic macro steps and got thru the project on time,,, with ms basic and batch processor... however your using connect so no basic available so contact pwise admin...

I've deinstalled ORD and reinstalled again and now I can use vba :-)
