dgnlib settings overwritten by reference

I am trying to edit some dgnlib settings in ORD ver 10.07.00.56. I have made my changes to the dgnlib file. I start a new dgn. I reference my existing terrain and set it active. I reference my alignment. When I create my profiles using the Named Boundary command, it does not load my revised settings. As near as I can tell it is using the setting currently in my alignment reference. I am forced to start a new alignment dgn to reference into my profile sheet dgn just to test my revised settings.

How do I prevent the old settings from loading?

  • I am trying to setup profile labels. I have created an Annotation Group and multiple Annotation Definitions. If I change an Annotation Definition using manage Annotation Group, everything seems fine in that current dgnlib file. I create a new dgn to load the dgnlib. I reference my alignment which contains an alignment, existing terrain profile and design profile. The reference does not contain any sheet models. In my new dgn, when I create the profile sheet model it is pulling the annotation group settings from the reference. In order to load my new settings, I have to create an entirely new file, recreate a new alignment, existing terrain profile, and design profile. Then I can create the sheet models from Named Boundary and it will use my revised Annotation Group settings. Why is it pulling the Annotation Group settings from the reference instead of the current dgnlib?
