I would like to view the elevation of the flow line of the curb-line gutters as I go through the cross sections in the Dynamic Cross Section Viewer. Is there a way to accomplish this?
Thank you.
Jeremy:
Interesting question which I do not have an answer for. I will be following this thread closely.

Can you snap to it?
I'm only in Ss4, but the cross section and profile views use a coordinate system where Elevation is the Y coordinate and the X is Station for profiles and offset for cross sections.

I have been away from Bentley products for about 6 years. I am starting back up with OpenRoads Designer. When using the Corridor Modeler in the past, I use to set temporary dimensions and point elevations in the corridor modeler so that I could evaluate points as I progressed along the alignment. I did this in locations where I was changing the cross slope of the pavement to fit within narrow Right-Of-Ways so that I could confirm I was not causing ponding. I am designing a boulevard coming off a state highway and need to warp the pavement to transition from the highway to the typical section on the road I am designing, there are a few other variables I am dealing with also. The desire is to place a temporary elevation marker in the Dynamic Cross Section viewer so that I can check elevations quickly while I am working on the design.
Thank you for your interest.
Yes, Chuck, you can snap to it.
