Thanks for the reply. I was hoping for a variable or trick to set maximum sections. Guess I will have to stick with creating individual sheets by selecting only 2 named boundaries. It works put takes much longer.

Can you add a variable to set the maximum number of allowable cross sections per sheet, maybe CROSSSECTION_MAX_SHEET. If the current settings create 4 sections on a sheet, and CROSSSECTION_MAX_SHEET is set to equal 2, then only 2 sections would be placed on the sheet. This would be a great benefit for creating cross section sheets.

I have never liked this. I worked with one engineer who wanted three cross sections on a sheet. He might "allow" two if there was enough relief in the section, but never more than three. A lot of times, we were able to "play" with the spacing to make that happen, but it was always extra work. And then there were times we just couldn't get it to work, so we had to manually go through the project and move sections around. There was always extra work involved because we couldn't set a Max. Number of cross sections and be done with it.

In fact the number of cross sections per sheet depends on the available space on the sheet. It is calculated automatically and you can't set the maximum number of cross sections.
