Hello,
I am currently running Geopak Version 08.11.09.904 and my coworker is running 08.11.09.845. I was working on a corridor model and switched projects for a week or so then when I came back to open my model I get the Newer Civil Data Found error which I am aware can be caused by opening a file with OpenRoads but that has not been done. We do not have OpenRoads. Another catch is that my coworker can open the model and not get the error message at all. It runs properly and the model can be edited. We have tried doing a "Save As" of the file, purging most of the references from the drawing and even repairing and reinstalling .904 but still get the error. We are both puzzled by this and are looking for guidance. Thanks!
Brad
Hi Brad, can you share your files? I'll investigate the issue. You can upload them here: https://bentley.sharefile.com/r-r84dcaeec3f1449c9
Hi Marc, thanks for looking into it. I uploaded our surface data (dtm) and model (cm02). If you need any more information, let me know.
Thanks!
It seems that with the .845 you don't get any error message or read-only restriction when you open a newer version of a dgn but I use the Version Checker with your dgn files and the 'cd160445_cm02' one has definitively been saved in the version 10.07.00.56 of OpenRoads Designer.

I see. In that case, backdating to .845 would be a good option. It is currently the recommended version of Geopak by our DOT anyway. And I'll have to check around the office and see if someone has been playing with OpenRoads and unknowingly opened it. My coworker and I don't have it but someone else might.
Thanks for looking into this!
