Dear All,
Greetings!
Is there any tool to export the Superelevation Data from OpenRoads Designer in Land XML format?
Also how to add the superelevation band in my profile view?
All helps will be appreciated..
Thanks in advance...
From the Corridor tab, select 'Report Superelevation'. The report selected can be exported to XML format - it is not LandXML specific.
You need to add a new entry in your profile annotation group to define the superelevation. The image shows an example. Note that 2 'alias' settings have been defined by selecting the '...' - each profile will have different superelevation sections/lanes, and the 'alias' allows the user to select the specific one for the current profile.
Thank you sir for your timely response...But I have tried that method in my system...Actually I need that LAND XML data to use in Autocad Civil 3D. Our client is having only Autocad Civil 3D software to verify our designs. So they are demanding Land XML/any other formats to import the superelevation data that is designed in ORD.
Export the superelevation as a CSV file - I believe C3D reads these.
Thank you Sir...It works...Now we are working on superelevation bands in profile view.
Oh wow. I've never messed around with any of the Frame Annotation objects and didn't realize there was something like this in the software! Is there a video floating around on this anywhere?
Hi Mark, with Superelevation Annotation defined as you suggest, when annotating model using such annotation group, the software shows Resolve Aliases for Definition dialog and only seem to allow selecting the superelevation lanes in the Target dropdown when the superelevation lanes are actually defined in the active drawing. If I try to do the same with superelevation information attached as an xref (either as separate file or as part of a corridor dgn) I cannot select anything from the Target dropdown. Can you please clarify?

Mariusz
