Cannot set scaling less than 1

Question

I am currently using: 
 In Roads Suite V8i 
 V08.11.09.493 
 
 I am experiencing a problem that i cannot scale any object to a value < 1. If i select a value < 1 in the active scale dialog box it defaults it back to 1. 
 How do i get around this?

Are you trying to adjust the active scale through the AS= key-in? Or are you trying to adjust some scale property on specific types of element, etc? 
 
 Not sure if you are using anything like the Global Scale factor or Text Scale Factor through native InRoads or if you are using straight MicroStation scaling.

Mohammad, Are you using the scale tool in the Manipulate Toolbox? this works best for individual elements or a group of selected elements.
