Hi
In my Element Annotations the Arc Tangent labels and Arc Radius Label rotates with the View. Which can be annoying and confusing for other to look at.
Their placement settings are the same as for major stations, Perpendicular.
How can I lock direction of the tangent station and tangent radius
I am not if this has come with the latest release or if this has always ben like that.
Setting for annotations:
View with no rotation:
Rotated view:
I am using OpenRoads Designer Release 2 Update 7 - Version 10.07.01.32

Turn the property 'View Independent' to False for those elements. If text is View Independent, it always has the same rotation relative to the view, not the real world.

Thanks Mark. You are right, it was "view independant. But unfortunately it dont come through into my existing drawing, just into a new ones? Is there a easy way to update feature definition setting in existing files?
It is the Annotation Group, not the Feature definition - the Annotation group should be updated in the DGNLIB. However, for existing drawings, as the old annotation group is copied into the DGN, it is probably just as quick to amend each existing drawing DGN (rather than deleting annotation group and then replace it from DGNLIB).
Thanks for quick response :-)
