I have an issue with the tool Profile From Surface for a complex element combining multiple ditch line and not sure if this is how it was intended to work or I'm just doing something wrong. The profile draws normally until it reaches an area where the active terrain model narrows down and all of a sudden the profile draws everything at that specific station. In the image above, the dashed line is the outline of the terrain model, while the element I'm trying to create profile for is selected.
The line continues for another 5 miles but as you can see from the profile above, it abruptly ends and displays everything at the edge of the terrain break (even though there's no element drawn through the "terrain-less" zone). The workarounds I can think of is modifying the terrain to include the gap between the lines or just separating the elements - but is this intended? I would much prefer keeping the element in one element than having to reference multiple.
